Our ShiRock Village Story
A Collaborative Approach to Ministry
Little Rock Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church, as led by the Holy Spirit, are embracing a collaborative approach to ministry rather than a competitive one. We recognize that God has not called us to operate as rivals, but as kingdom partners—sharing resources, strengthening one another, and advancing the mission of Christ together. While we remain two congregations with our own histories, identities, and worshiping communities, we will operate and cooperate as one church family, united under the 5G Vision of our Pastor—Grace, Gather, Glow, Grow, and Go.
By choosing collaboration over competition, we honor God’s design for unity in the Body of Christ and position our ministries for greater impact. This decision brings several key advantages:
-
Greater Kingdom Impact – Working together allows us to expand our reach, multiply our ministry effectiveness, and serve more people than either congregation could alone.
-
Shared Strength and Resources – Collaboration allows us to wisely steward volunteers, finances, gifts, facilities, and leadership for the good of both congregations.
-
Stronger Spiritual and Relational Unity – By walking together in love, trust, and purpose, we model the unity of the Church and create a healthier, more encouraging ministry culture.
