1956 — Little Rock Baptist Church is organized under the leadership of Rev. Steve Gulley with three founding members on Moore Street in Brooklyn.

1950s–1960s — The church relocates to 467 Central Avenue in Bushwick and grows in faith and ministry.

Under Rev. Gulley’s Leadership — The church is incorporated, secures its 501(c)(3) status, undergoes major renovations, and expands ministries while remaining rooted in strong preaching and teaching.

1984–1986 — Pastor Gulley faces declining health and is called home from labor to reward, leaving a legacy of faith and service.

1987 — Rev. Alfonso White is elected as the second Pastor; community outreach expands, including the neighborhood food pantry and scholarship ministry.

2006 — Pastor White resigns and relocates to Mississippi after years of dedicated service.

October 17, 2007 — Pastor F. Craig Henry is called to serve as the third Pastor of Little Rock Baptist Church.

March 30, 2008 — Pastor Henry is ordained and installed; the church experiences renewed spiritual and numerical growth.

2008–2016 — A season of renewal, revival, and restoration leads to major facility upgrades, ministry restructuring, leadership development, and congregational strengthening at 467 Central Avenue.

2016 — Following an unforeseen property loss, the church embraces a bold relocation vision grounded in faith.

November 18, 2016 — Little Rock sells 467 Central Avenue and purchases its new home at 958 Glenmore Avenue, completing both transactions on the same day — a testament that “With God, all things are possible.”

2016–Present — Little Rock continues growing as a church of Faith, Fellowship, and Family, serving God and the community with renewed purpose and commitment.
