Devotional

One of life's greatest questions is, 'Why am I still here?'

Noah survived the flood not because of luck or superior ability, but because God had an assignment for his life beyond the storm. Before the rain fell, God established His covenant with Noah, reminding us that God prepares purpose before He permits pain. Noah carried God's redemptive plan into a new world, just as every believer carries gifts, testimony, and hope for others.

• God delivers, then deploys;

• He restores, then commissions.

• Your survival is not merely personal—it is missional.

• Someone needs the hope that only your story can provide.

• The God who preserved you will also prepare you to fulfill your assignment.

More Grace, Less Grumbling

• Purpose changes perspective.

• Grumbling asks, 'Why me?'

• Grace says, 'Use me.'

• Instead of complaining about what you endured, thank God for what He produced in you through it. Every scar can become someone else's encouragement and every storm can become someone else's shelter.

How would your perspective change if you viewed every hardship you survived as preparation for someone else's healing rather than simply your own survival?

Prayerfully identify one person who needs encouragement this week and share how God brought you through your own storm.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for preserving my life when I could not understand the purpose behind my pain. Thank You for every storm that shaped me and every season that reminded me of Your faithfulness. Forgive me for seeing my life as mere survival instead of recognizing Your calling upon me.Lord, awaken a fresh sense of purpose within me. Use my testimony to strengthen others and help me exchange every complaint for compassion and every excuse for obedience. May my life point others to Jesus Christ. Amen.
