Get Up and Become a Blessing
Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20

Devotional
There is a time to sit down, but there is also a time to get up!
In John 6, the people sat down at the instruction of Jesus. They received what He provided, and the disciples distributed the bread throughout the crowd. The miracle reminds us that what is placed in the hands of Jesus can become a blessing to many.
We cannot become so focused on receiving God's blessings that we forget our responsibility to share them.
God blesses us so that we can become a blessing. He gives us grace so that we can extend grace. He strengthens us so that we can strengthen others. He gives us hope so that we can share hope with those who are discouraged.
The 5G vision does not end with Grace, Gather, Glow, and Grow. It moves us toward Go!
We are called to leave the comfort of our familiar spaces and take the love of Christ into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and communities.
The question is not simply, "What has God done for me?" The question is also, "Who can I bless because of what God has done for me?"
5G Connection — GO
We go to serve, evangelize, witness, love, and make disciples. We are not simply called to gather in the church; we are called to carry the church into the world.
Today's 5G Challenge
Identify one person you can intentionally bless today. Share an encouraging word, offer practical assistance, invite someone to worship, or share your testimony of God's goodness.
Declaration
I am blessed to be a blessing! I will not keep God's goodness to myself.
I will serve with purpose, love with compassion, and go wherever God sends me.

Prayer
Father, thank You for everything You have placed in my hands. Help me to use my gifts, resources, time, and testimony to bless others. Give me courage to reach beyond my comfort zone and compassion for those who need to experience Your love. Let SHI-ROCK Village become a church that not only gathers but goes. Send us into the world to make a difference for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
