DAY 3 — GLOW
Let Your Gratitude Shine

Scripture: Matthew 5:16
Key Scripture
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Devotional
In John 6:11, Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to the people. What stands out is that Jesus gave thanks before the miracle was fully experienced.
He did not wait until everybody had eaten to express gratitude. He gave thanks while the provision was still in His hands.
That is a powerful lesson for us. Gratitude should not be determined by our circumstances. We should not wait until every prayer is answered, every problem is solved, or every door is opened before we give God praise.
A grateful heart shines even in difficult seasons.
When we live with gratitude, we become a testimony to the goodness of God. Our attitudes, conversations, decisions, and treatment of others should reflect the light of Christ.
Somebody needs to see your light today. Not because your life is perfect, but because your God is faithful!
5G Connection — GLOW
We glow when the light of Christ is visible in our character, our gratitude, our worship, and our relationships.
Today's 5G Challenge
Identify three things you are grateful for today. Then intentionally encourage three people. Let your words and actions brighten somebody else's day.
Declaration
My light will shine! I will not allow difficult circumstances to steal my gratitude. My life will reflect the goodness, faithfulness, and love of God.
Morning Prayer
Father, thank You for being faithful in every season. Forgive me for focusing so
much on what I do not have that I sometimes overlook what You have already provided. Give me a grateful heart and a joyful spirit. Let the light of Christ shine through my words, actions, and attitudes today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
