Give God the Glory

Devotional

Here is the question that ties everything together. When people look at your life, who do they see? All week we have talked about the glow. Where it comes from, how it grows, and where it is meant to go. But today we land on the most important truth of all. The glow is not the goal. God’s glory is the goal. It is a subtle but powerful shift. When we live for the glow, we are living for the attention, the affirmation, the feeling of being seen. But when we live for God’s glory, we become less concerned with how we look and more concerned with whether people are encountering Jesus through us. That is the kind of life worth building. Not one that people admire from a distance, but one that draws people closer to Christ. Not a life that says look at me, but one that consistently says look at Him. Encouragement for today: You have something to offer that no one else can. Your story, your gifts, your presence in someone’s life. Use all of it to point people to the Father. That is the assignment beyond the anointing, and it is worth everything. Let your glow be about Jesus.

Bible Verse

"Then they came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him." - Matthew 28:9

Reflection Question

At the end of your life, what do you want people to say your glow was really about?

Quote

"The glow is not the goal. God’s glory is the goal."

Prayer

Father, let everything I do, every gift I use and every life I touch, bring glory to Your name. May my life always point people to You, not to me. Let my glow be about Jesus.
