Saturday January 10, 2026 FROM FAILURE TO FUTURE Life After Failure Devotional

Peter failed Jesus…  Paul persecuted Jesus…Yet both were chosen by Jesus.

One denied Him… The other opposed Him… And God redeemed both.

That is the story of grace.

Peter’s denial and Paul’s conversion tell the same gospel truth from two angles:  God doesn’t discard broken people — He redirects them. Your failure may have knocked you down, but it did not knock you out.

10 Devotional Truths

1. Failure is not proof you don’t love God — it’s proof you are human.  Peter loved Jesus and still failed. Paul was sincere and still wrong.

2. God knows your future even when you are stuck in your failure.  Before Peter denied Him… Jesus already planned his restoration. Before Saul met Him… Jesus already named him Paul.

3. Grace doesn’t erase your story — it redeems it.  God doesn’t delete your mess. He transforms it into ministry.

4. Jesus meets us at the scene of our failure.  Peter by the fire.  Paul on the road. Grace always shows up where shame once lived.

5. Forgiveness restores your relationship — grace restores your identity.  Peter wasn’t just forgiven — he was recommissioned. Paul wasn’t just spared — he was sent.

6. Failure does not disqualify you — it develops you.  Peter became compassionate.  Paul became humble.  You become wiser.

7. Your mess becomes your ministry.  God used Peter’s weakness to shepherd people. God used Paul’s past to reach the lost.

8. God still calls you by purpose, not by past. Jesus didn’t say, “Former failure.” He said, “Follow Me.”

9. You are still needed in God’s plan.  The Kingdom does not stop because you stumbled.

10. Your restoration advances the 5G Vision. Grace restores you. Gather brings you back.  Glow lets your testimony shine. Grow deepens your maturity. Go sends you back out with power.

3. What would it look like for you to step back into your calling with faith instead of fear?

Prayer→ Lord,  Thank You that my failure is not final and my past is not permanent.  Like Peter, restore my heart. Like Paul, redirect my future.  Let my mess become my ministry and my pain become purpose. Help me walk in Your Grace, stay connected as we Gather, let my story Glow, help me Grow in maturity, and send me to Go serve boldly. I receive Your restoration.  I accept Your calling.  I follow You again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
